I had so much fun spending Sarah and Travis’ wedding day with them. Sarah was a beautiful blushing bride and it was such an honor to be able to capture their special day. We started off at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa for getting ready photos. After the first look (which was sooooooo sweet), we grabbed a few portraits then the Tulsa Trolley took the wedding party a few blocks to The Summit Club for the Ceremony. Stay tuned for the Part II blog post with more details about the amazing ceremony and reception.

After the first look and some portraits we tucked Jennifer and Glenn away because guests were arriving. They timed the ceremony just perfectly as the sun was going down behind them. Have I mentioned that I love weddings? I love seeing the emotion during the ceremony of both the couple and the family/audience. The reception was so much fun as Dave and the Wavetones serenaded the guests all evening. It was truly a special evening. Congrats, Jennifer and Glenn!

In the middle of the ceremony, these planes flew directly overhead. I was under the eves and didn’t see them but Heath was stationed closer to the front of the ceremony and snagged this shot. That is why it pays to have two shooters.
I snagged Jennifer and Glenn just after the ceremony for a few shots as the sun was coming down. The light was stunning!
Now…time for the celebration!
Mother and daughter. Love. The look on her face says it all.

I literally had a smile on my face the entire time I was at Jennifer and Glenn’s wedding. The day flew by at an incredible rate for me! It was full of heart-felt and genuine moments from family and friends alike. I am so incredibly lucky to be such a big part of their big day. So. Lucky.
Heath and I met at Jennifer’s lovely home in Tulsa for getting ready shots. She has done a stellar job decorating the place that we had plently of areas to shoot detail shots. Some of her family and her bridesmaids were their doing hair and makeup for the afternoon. Jennifer, with her very organized schedule, had everything planned to a T. Glenn arrived just in time for his soon to be mother-in-law, who owns her own salon in Colorado, to trim his beard and get him looking spiffy. As a sweet surprise, Glenn brought a couple bottles of Dom Perignon and everyone toasted to a stress free day before heading out. Not that they had to worry, Jennifer and Glenn have been my most relaxed couple to date.
After getting everyone dressed at Five Oaks Lodge, we had the first look. This was just the beginning of so many sweet moments that night. We had time to get a few portraits on the property before tucking them away for guests to arrive.

I know I say this every time I photograph him, but I can’t believe how fast the little ones grown…especially in the first year. Little Aiden is moving and shaking at 9 months. The poor fella just woke up from a nap and wasn’t sure why there was a camera up in his face. He warmed up to me after a while and we got some smiles. Such a cutie! I’m already excited for his one year shoot in a few months!
